Confirm product data

Density, coverage, compaction, and package yield vary. Product documentation and supplier specifications should take priority over general estimating factors.

Plan the margin deliberately

Use a visible waste allowance based on cuts, breakage, uneven grading, compaction, or measurement uncertainty.
